Duardo Espinareda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Cerro Oriental's William Peredes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 77th minute, William Peredes made a precise shot to the right of Rogerio Bonilla. Bone FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Alebio in the 81st minute of play forced Cerro Oriental's goalkeeper Nereo Elvira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Jimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rogerio Bonilla made a huge save.
