Norberto Cerdeño, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pirmin Alire in the 26th minute of play forced El Rali's goalkeeper Mambru Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Urueña made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Fero Coco sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Arieta's late challenge caught a El Rali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Arieta helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Arieta hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Benicio Urueña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Ugia in the 31st minute of play. Norberto Cerdeño charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Cerdeño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Monterros shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 39th minute of the match, Julian Ugia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benicio Urueña saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Julian Ugia managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Rali's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Ugia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Urueña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Benicio Urueña managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when El Rali's Fero Coco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 45 played minutes Julian Ugia rounded Maturrango AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Maturrango AFC's Pirmin Alire got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fero Coco came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the El Rali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fero Coco couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maturrango AFC! The referee gave El Rali a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Peter Monterros, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maturrango AFC's Benicio Urueña. 2-0. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maturrango AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Urueña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, El Rali's Julian Ugia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Urueña was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Maturrango AFC's Rico Naveira got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, El Rali's Mambru Abarca got control of the ball when Teodoro Arieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benicio Urueña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fero Coco in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Fero Coco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Urueña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Maturrango AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Urueña should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Rali fully deserved thier win.
