El Gringo 20 FC's Ruben Mazule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muc Fabelo in the 25th minute of play. Regis Parayos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etxekopar Neyda in the 26th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Martin Andonaegui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Almekia United and the El Gringo 20 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The score was 1-3 after a penalty in the 33rd minute, where El Gringo 20 FC:s Millano Mallen tricked New Almekia United:s Regis Parayos with a difficult ball by the left post. Ruben Mazule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaitan Corel in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Muc Fabelo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of El Gringo 20 FC's Ruben Mazule. Ruben Mazule was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Llorian Bolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half New Almekia United were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Llorian Bolas to make the kick off. Ruben Mazule didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodas Irala in the 57th managed to get into a good position. In the 60th minute, Gaitan Corel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Ruben Mazule managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when New Almekia United's Llorian Bolas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaitan Corel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Mazule having to interfere. Llorian Bolas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ruben Mazule when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of El Gringo 20 FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New Almekia United:s goal. Llorian Bolas took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Mazule. Ruben Mazule dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. When Llorian Bolas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the New Almekia United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llorian Bolas couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes El Gringo 20 FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Gual. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Llorian Bolas in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Mazule prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Llorian Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Mazule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Llorian Bolas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Mazule was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Rodas Irala fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Almekia United's protests and gave Rodas Irala a yellow card for diving instead. New Almekia United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
