Spectators: 7422 (Terracing: 5567, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) 5 minutes into the game, Reynardo Lanzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horqueta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piamontesa AFC the free kick. After 5 played minutes Horqueta got a freekick which was hit by Reynardo Lanzon. Jenaro Obispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errapel Maleta in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Piamontesa AFC's Errapel Maleta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jenaro Obispo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severiano Murguia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. David Bueres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Piamontesa AFC's David Bueres made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jenaro Obispo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Piamontesa AFC's goalkeeper Neto Cal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Murguia. Jenaro Obispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errapel Maleta in the 26th minute of play. Piamontesa AFC's Neto Cal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufrasio Elenes in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Guillelmo Saes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Murguia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neto Cal having to make a save. Guillelmo Saes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jenaro Obispo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Bueres, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Severiano Murguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Neto Cal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horqueta's Jenaro Obispo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Errapel Maleta in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eufrasio Elenes to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Piamontesa AFC defense, Eufrasio Elenes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neto Cal. The Piamontesa AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neto Cal should have stopped the shot. Errapel Maleta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Piamontesa AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Xines Lena hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Errapel Maleta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jenaro Obispo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Bueres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Horqueta's Eufrasio Elenes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neto Cal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by David Bueres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Severiano Murguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Neto Cal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eufrasio Elenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Piamontesa AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Horqueta.
