A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frans Pisciña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidencio Almandoz in the 16th minute. Fidencio Almandoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resto Heredia in the 24th minute of play forced Itapeby AFC's goalkeeper Santiago Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Alcain struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Frans Pisciña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapeby AFC. The supporters of Malwee booed when Itapeby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Francesco Ramin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Frans Pisciña to make any attempt to save it. Frans Pisciña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Alcain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rafael Alcain made the kick off in the second half. Fidencio Almandoz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frans Pisciña. Frans Pisciña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 56 minutes, Felipe Isurieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malwee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Isurieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Felipe Isurieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fidencio Almandoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Lance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. That made the score 3-1 after 87 minutes of play. 91 minutes into the game, Malwee's Alvaro Lance nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Socorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Itapeby AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
