Xabat Arberas's late challenge caught a Illescas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xabat Arberas helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Goni got a freekick which was hit by Xabat Arberas. The referee ignored Illescas's protests and gave Gelacio Foyo a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Illescas.
