Gorri Fuertes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Piedras F.C. After a defensive mix-up in Reynold's zone, Olaf Ragnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gorri Fuertes came out of the goal and Olaf Ragnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olaf Ragnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gorri Fuertes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When James Kipkoech fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Piedras F.C's protests and gave James Kipkoech a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Las Piedras F.C's James Kipkoech got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reynold's goalkeeper Gorri Fuertes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Urigarri kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The long shot by Felix Urigarri in the 33rd minute really tested Emil Pleban's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Roman Villamil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gorri Fuertes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Beltrán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Las Piedras F.C's James Kipkoech got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered James Kipkoech off the ground. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Ragnarsson made a kick off. Lucas Beltrán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las Piedras F.C's Olaf Ragnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lucas Beltrán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gorri Fuertes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Ragnarsson in the 72nd minute of play. Reynold's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Lucas Beltrán scored to the left of an out of position Gorri Fuertes, making the score, 0-3. A collision led to Las Piedras F.C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Egun Lombraña hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonio Consul in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Pleban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Pleban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonio Consul, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Lucas Beltrán took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gorri Fuertes. Gorri Fuertes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Lucas Beltrán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gorri Fuertes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gorri Fuertes made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Olaf Ragnarsson sent off a good shot on target. Las Piedras F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
