Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Young's Belo Ubilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Errapel Bugedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Young's Tavio Devesa got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belo Ubilla took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Errapel Bugedo. Errapel Bugedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tavio Devesa in the 11th minute of play forced Platon's goalkeeper Errapel Bugedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Navaes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Onofre Maruca came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Navaes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Belo Ubilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tavio Devesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errapel Bugedo having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Belo Ubilla notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Platon's Errapel Bugedo. Errapel Bugedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Platon getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gilabert Guisado hit a great ball. Onofre Maruca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walme Bolilla in the 31st minute of play. Cilio Espriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belo Ubilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errapel Bugedo having to interfere. Tavio Devesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errapel Bugedo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Platon's zone, Belo Ubilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errapel Bugedo came out of the goal and Belo Ubilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, Endira Arevalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Platon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young the free kick. In the 45th minute, Endira Arevalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Belo Ubilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Errapel Bugedo having to make a save. Errapel Bugedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Ubilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes Platon got a freekick which was hit by Ysidro Pantigoso. After 58 played minutes Platon got a freekick which was hit by Endira Arevalo. Belo Ubilla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Errapel Bugedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Belo Ubilla in the 63rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Errapel Bugedo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Furman Cotillos made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ysidro Pantigoso immediately put the ball in play. In the 68th minute, Francho Mesonero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Errapel Bugedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Ubilla in the 72nd minute of play. Belo Ubilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tavio Devesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Belo Ubilla came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Young fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belo Ubilla couldn't finish the play. Criston Casanoves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Errapel Bugedo. Platon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Tavio Devesa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogelio Domaquia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Errapel Bugedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Belo Ubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Young's supporters rose to their feet, but Belo Ubilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Errapel Bugedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Araoz Alamasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Errapel Bugedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Belo Ubilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errapel Bugedo having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Young left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Platon.
