In the 5th minute, Umea Gaytan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bautista Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifaco Artiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buceo's goalkeeper Umea Jonsansoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Umea Jonsansoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Armentia in the 9th minute of the match. Umea Gaytan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umea Jonsansoro having to interfere. Eliseo Armentia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Umea Jonsansoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Columbo Urquiaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bautista Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifaco Artiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Columbo Urquiaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bautista Meca made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Buceo's Bonifaco Artiaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bautista Meca. Bautista Meca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Buceo's Columbo Urquiaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bautista Meca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Armentia made a kick off. Cebrian Jayaga charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cebrian Jayaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Azrrael's Cebrian Jayaga got a free kick in the 51st minute. Columbo Urquiaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bautista Meca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifaco Artiaga in the 54th minute of play. Eliseo Armentia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buceo's Umea Jonsansoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Armentia in the 61st minute of play. Umea Jonsansoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Armentia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Azrrael's zone, Columbo Urquiaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bautista Meca came out of the goal and Columbo Urquiaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Columbo Urquiaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bautista Meca was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Columbo Urquiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bautista Meca having to interfere. Columbo Urquiaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bautista Meca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Azrrael eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
