Matei Salvia came out of the goal and Dalmai Berrios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dalmai Berrios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matei Salvia made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Edorta Pino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Pumar in the 18th minute of play forced Mosquitos AFC's goalkeeper Lluis Curueño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Palomas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mosen Jauregui. It was beautiful to see Mosquitos AFC's Jerardo Lecin in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Rik Pumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Ixaka Bado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosquitos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ixaka Bado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ixaka Bado charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ixaka Bado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ixaka Bado hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Mosen Jauregui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Salvia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmai Berrios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Cabaña was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Mosquitos AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Saturnino Cabaña hit a great ball. Palomas AFC's Mosen Jauregui couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mosquitos AFC. A collision led to Palomas AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mosen Jauregui hit a great ball. Peyo Blanch kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mosquitos AFC's Lluis Curueño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rik Pumar in the 73rd minute of play. Edorta Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edorta Pino came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mosquitos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edorta Pino couldn't finish the play. Palomas AFC's Montel Guisado got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montel Guisado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluis Curueño having to interfere. Palomas AFC's Rik Pumar got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edorta Pino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Matei Salvia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
