Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andre Zamora started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Guichon's Eliu Leyva got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience was convinced that Andre Zamora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urre Vicioso was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Eliu Leyva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gentza Aveo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Guichon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iban Cardon to maneuver through the defense. Ximeno Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliu Leyva in the 17th minute of play. Ximeno Natal came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Guichon's Eliu Leyva. But to his dismay, Eliu Leyva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 38 minutes, Cebrian Figueruel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franquia and the Guichon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Franquia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guichon:s goal. After the first half Guichon were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eliu Leyva made the kick off in the second half. Ximeno Natal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliu Leyva, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Guichon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Ocariz in the 54th minute. The corner led Guichon's Clis Sevillano to fire away a dangerous shot which Ximeno Natal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Eliu Leyva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guichon's Urre Vicioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Zamora in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Guichon got a freekick which was hit by Bladi Vallina. 65 minutes into the game, Franquia's Andre Zamora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urre Vicioso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 69th minute, Niceto Oyaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ximeno Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliu Leyva in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Luzaide Bolantin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urre Vicioso skillfully saved the ball. Osoitz Olabarrieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Urre Vicioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belasko Alemparte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Oyaga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Belasko Alemparte rounded Franquia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guichon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
