Urre Vicioso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosquitos AFC. In the 17th minute Dalmai Berrios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urre Vicioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mosquitos AFC's Saturnino Cabaña got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dalmai Berrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliu Leyva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluis Curueño having to interfere. Urre Vicioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmai Berrios in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliu Leyva made a kick off. Edorta Pino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Bladi Vallina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Edorta Pino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosquitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edorta Pino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urre Vicioso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmai Berrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lluis Curueño was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Belasko Alemparte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Belasko Alemparte really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Guichon's Bernardo Ocariz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dalmai Berrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urre Vicioso having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Dalmai Berrios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Urre Vicioso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, Mosquitos AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
