When Quinton Guemez came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Atlantida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinton Guemez couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With a left leg Corderun Provencio saved Atlantida AFC from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Aquilino Novajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corderun Provencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tala's zone, Ordono Fallabes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Munozcano came out of the goal and Ordono Fallabes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Novajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ordono Fallabes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Munozcano having to interfere. Tala's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
