Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rodriguez AFC's Ramirez Avellano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artur Morcillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Alsedar having to interfere. In the 9th minute Artur Morcillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Alsedar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ramirez Avellano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodriguez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lucian Mateu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Barja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Caravantes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Echeverria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piearres Orue to maneuver through the defense. Osasun Moran, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Leonides Alsedar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Morcillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rodriguez AFC's Lleir Oropesa got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lucian Mateu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuberoa Barja in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Rodriguez AFC's Montez Alcubierre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Mateu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Echeverria's goal looked a bit too open when Ramirez Avellano came free, but Lucian Mateu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Mateu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramirez Avellano in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Rodriguez AFC booed when Echeverria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piearres Orue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Ajorbe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Alsedar having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Artur Morcillo made the kick off in the second half. Ramirez Avellano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucian Mateu having to make a save. Zuberoa Barja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lucian Mateu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Echeverria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zuberoa Barja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Rodriguez AFC booed when Echeverria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piearres Orue didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87th play minutes Artur Morcillo shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Leonides Alsedar and just under the crossbar into goal. Artur Morcillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Mateu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramirez Avellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Rodriguez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Morcillo came free, but Leonides Alsedar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
