Sandalio Elicegui hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Peli Gaztañondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Giro Bolinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Araujo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Amandi having to interfere. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zavior Diana firmly grabbed it by the left post. Flavio Amandi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Araujo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Alex Araujo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Amandi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Alex Araujo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giro Bolinaga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmelo AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Amandi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Araujo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Amandi saved Carmelo AFC from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Carmelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacindo San to maneuver through the defense. Alex Araujo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Amandi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peli Gaztañondo in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Giro Bolinaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Giro Bolinaga came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Carmelo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giro Bolinaga couldn't finish the play. Zavior Diana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Ureta, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Carmelo AFC's Cresitobalo Moyano got a free kick in the 86th minute. Alex Araujo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Amandi having to make a save. Flavio Amandi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Araujo in the 91st minute of play. If Peli Gaztañondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Carmelo AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Mendizabal AFC for much of the match.
