An unexpectedly hard shot by Haritz Orcondona in the 3rd minute of play forced Progreso FC's goalkeeper Jerrald Ser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Haritz Orcondona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerrald Ser was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Silvestre Raña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cresenciano Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvestre Raña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Progreso FC's Silvestre Raña in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belveder's goalie prevented a goal. Cresenciano Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Villaquiran in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Villaquiran made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Progreso FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldovino Serbia. Haritz Orcondona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrald Ser having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Progreso FC got a freekick which was hit by Terciero Albarellos. Silvestre Raña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Cresenciano Abecia made a huge save. Haritz Orcondona struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jerrald Ser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belveder.
