Sagrario Mexia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dorio Jane made a huge save. A collision led to Wardogs FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cesareo Urigarri hit a great ball. If Atilano Contreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Sagrario Mexia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wardogs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sagrario Mexia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignazio Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Atilano Contreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wardogs FC's Ricardo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignazio Arce in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Contreras in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Pelayo saved Wardogs FC from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Cesareo Urigarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cai Palacio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Wardogs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Palacio couldn't finish the play. Sagrario Mexia struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dorio Jane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wardogs FC. When Batista Morodo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mederos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batista Morodo couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignazio Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ignazio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Contreras scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Pelayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Contreras was the one to do the kick off. Atilano Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Wardogs FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Pelayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignazio Arce. Despite this Ricardo Pelayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 67 minutes, Atilano Contreras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mederos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Contreras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Ignazio Arce notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wardogs FC's Ricardo Pelayo. Ricardo Pelayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignazio Arce in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes, Helder Santaren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wardogs FC and the Mederos players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the game, one of Wardogs FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute of the game, Mederos got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Mederos's goal looked a bit too open when Sagrario Mexia came free, but Dorio Jane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagrario Mexia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorio Jane having to interfere. Ignazio Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Wardogs FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mederos's performance. The match ended with a win for Mederos.
