Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Atilano Contreras made the kick off which started today's match. After 8 minutes of play, Mederos's Ignazio Arce made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Dalaje was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Xzavaier Herrezuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurin Trevino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Borrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorio Jane having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Mederos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Innocenzio Matanza to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Batista Morodo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mederos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupambae AFC the free kick. Endira Ansures kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Mederos's Ignazio Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Borrego's late challenge caught a Mederos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Borrego helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Borrego hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tupambae AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Dalaje, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, Tupambae AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavaier Herrezuelo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignazio Arce got free with Gaspar Dalaje in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilano Contreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gaspar Dalaje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Contreras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Higinio Piña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Borrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorio Jane having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Mederos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tupambae AFC:s goal. Higinio Piña shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Ignazio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Thomas Borrego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupambae AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Borrego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Ignazio Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mederos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mederos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
