Teofilio Balmori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Cero, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Teofilio Balmori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahia Villarias in the 14th minute of play. Teofilio Balmori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Cero's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Karlos Graus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilabertus Lanza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vigil Verdeces's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Cabañero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Vigil Verdeces who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Cabañero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Jimenez's Antonio Cabañero got control of the ball when Guilabertus Lanza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Precioso Monjo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guilabertus Lanza to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimenez's Antonio Cabañero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilabertus Lanza in the 53rd minute of play. Ladislao Cero might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilio Balmori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Cero ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilio Balmori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nahia Villarias in the 62nd minute of the match. Nahia Villarias was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 69th play minute Ladislao Cero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teofilio Balmori. 0-1. Antonio Cabañero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilabertus Lanza in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Guilabertus Lanza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arenal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ladislao Cero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Baudelio Velilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jimenez the free kick. Arenal's Teofilio Balmori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Arenal from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Ocampo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilio Balmori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Ladislao Cero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teofilio Balmori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
