Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guilabertus Lanza got the match started through his kick off. If Vigil Verdeces had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 9 minutes, Vigil Verdeces managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vigil Verdeces was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Vigil Verdeces managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Vigil Verdeces was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xinaro Alcolea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Espinillar FC booed when Arenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Precioso Monjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espinillar FC's Salamon Buron came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Teofilio Balmori had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Salamon Buron kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Arenal's keeper Teofilio Balmori was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vigil Verdeces in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xinaro Alcolea saved Espinillar FC from getting behind. Xinaro Alcolea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilabertus Lanza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Guilabertus Lanza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xinaro Alcolea was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Vigil Verdeces received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Xinaro Alcolea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Icedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guilabertus Lanza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Vigil Verdeces got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Xinaro Alcolea was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Arenal's Vigil Verdeces sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xinaro Alcolea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salamon Buron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Icedo in the 83rd minute of play forced Arenal's goalkeeper Teofilio Balmori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vigil Verdeces could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Xinaro Alcolea made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Guilabertus Lanza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xinaro Alcolea. Guilabertus Lanza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arenal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
