Venceslas Guernica came out of the goal and Frichoso Alcivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venceslas Guernica made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sein Agrelo sent off a good shot on target. Olando Somavilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jose Melena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olando Somavilla in the 18th minute of play forced Heriberto's goalkeeper Jose Melena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Reina kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Sauce AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frichoso Alcivia came free, but Venceslas Guernica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Albano Adornio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes, Cesario Lijo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauce AFC and the Heriberto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Heriberto booed when Sauce AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesario Lijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Frichoso Alcivia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 33rd play minute Sein Agrelo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Venceslas Guernica. 1-0. If Frichoso Alcivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donzel Ocejo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jose Melena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce AFC. The supporters of Sauce AFC booed when Heriberto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donzel Carrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donzel Ocejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donzel Ocejo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frichoso Alcivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslas Guernica having to interfere. When Sein Agrelo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Heriberto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sein Agrelo couldn't finish the play. Venceslas Guernica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sein Agrelo in the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Sauce AFC's Albano Adornio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Melena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Donzel Ocejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Olando Somavilla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 85 minutes into the match, Heriberto's Frichoso Alcivia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venceslas Guernica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sein Agrelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 played minutes Heriberto got a freekick which was hit by Donzel Carrio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donzel Ocejo in the 90th minute of play forced Heriberto's goalkeeper Jose Melena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heriberto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mantzio Cuezba was slow to take the kick. During this time Sauce AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mantzio Cuezba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jose Melena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
