The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Semeno Palacio sped through Quebracho AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ezkerra Rescuro. Bautista Bolaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lekubegi Pallares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Celino Montoia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebracho AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celino Montoia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bautista Bolaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Celino Montoia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebracho AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celino Montoia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Valentin AFC booed when Quebracho AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senen Vianes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Vermudo Arramendia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vermudo Arramendia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semeno Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezkerra Rescuro having to interfere. Vermudo Arramendia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezkerra Rescuro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Valentin AFC got a corner. Quebracho AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faron Margarita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Faron Margarita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ezkerra Rescuro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the game, Celino Montoia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bautista Bolaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Celino Montoia made a precise shot to the right of Bautista Bolaño. Valentin AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Vermudo Arramendia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ezkerra Rescuro made a huge save. After having played for 34 minutes, Vermudo Arramendia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vermudo Arramendia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezkerra Rescuro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semeno Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Semeno Palacio in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Semeno Palacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ezkerra Rescuro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes, Quebracho AFC's Rameriz Corujo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bautista Bolaño came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quebracho AFC reached it. The Valentin AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quebracho AFC were winning 1-2.

When Vermudo Arramendia fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valentin AFC's protests and gave Vermudo Arramendia a yellow card for diving instead. Vermudo Arramendia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rameriz Corujo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Valentin AFC's Faron Margarita got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Quebracho AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Senen Vianes to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Vermudo Arramendia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Valentin AFC's Vermudo Arramendia in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quebracho AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes Quebracho AFC got a freekick which was hit by Etxahun Rosete. If Semeno Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quebracho AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Valentin AFC's much stronger midfield.
