Novillos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ciudad de la costa FC the free kick. Burni Alcano hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ciudad de la costa FC's Mario Galban fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to ciudad de la costa FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Castel Cayon hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, ciudad de la costa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Encina came free, but Conrado Puellas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Corderall Valiente got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, ciudad de la costa FC's Conrado Puellas got control of the ball when Corderall Valiente tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Mario Galban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ciudad de la costa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Galban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markel Urquioja charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markel Urquioja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Novillos FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Markel Urquioja hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes ciudad de la costa FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Remicio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Galban made a kick off. Reynaldo Bugarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Galban, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Mario Galban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novillos FC's Reynaldo Bugarin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Novillos FC's Cirilo Encina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Puellas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cirilo Encina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Conrado Puellas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reynaldo Bugarin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot by Rigoberto Ruis from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Reynaldo Bugarin's attention.
