Xurde Amigo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Cirilo Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Joanico FC's Idacio Ruiloba got control of the ball when Corderall Valiente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joanico FC's Leizarraga Castaños got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Joanico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Sarria to maneuver through the defense. Corderall Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idacio Ruiloba having to interfere. Idacio Ruiloba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Encina, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Leizarraga Castaños blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Bugarin having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leizarraga Castaños in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Bugarin saved Novillos FC from getting behind. Severino Arguiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Idacio Ruiloba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tipi Araujo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Novillos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brais Viladrosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Joanico FC's players had a chance to rest. Joanico FC's Brais Viladrosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Bugarin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Oriol Villalain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Xurde Amigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Bugarin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Oriol Villalain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Bugarin having to interfere. Santiago Sarria hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corderall Valiente in the 71st minute of play forced Joanico FC's goalkeeper Idacio Ruiloba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corderall Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Corderall Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Idacio Ruiloba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Encina in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Leizarraga Castaños kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reynaldo Bugarin. That made the score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. When Tipi Araujo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. The supporters of Joanico FC booed when Novillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tipi Araujo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xurde Amigo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xurde Amigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Joanico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xurde Amigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Novillos FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Bugarin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
