Gabon Reimundez started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sein Massey in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eutor Fururia saved Mederos from getting behind. When Pepillo Jauregui fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Momobanano's protests and gave Pepillo Jauregui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Momobanano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mel Pereda to maneuver through the defense. Emmanuel Collazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Pierres Albiz from a close distance when the talented Eutor Fururia managed to make a qualified save. Mederos's players were relieved. Boni Echenique's late challenge caught a Mederos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boni Echenique helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute of the match Gaspar Astulez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Berberana skillfully saved the ball. Sein Massey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mederos's Eutor Fururia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mederos from getting a goal against them. Sein Massey kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Mederos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sein Massey to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gabon Reimundez took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Edelmiro Berberana to make any attempt to save it. Gabon Reimundez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edelmiro Berberana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabon Reimundez in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Berberana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pierres Albiz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Momobanano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierres Albiz couldn't finish the play. Pierres Albiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eutor Fururia having to interfere. The supporters of Mederos booed when Momobanano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boni Echenique didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Collazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Gabon Reimundez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mederos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabon Reimundez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Emmanuel Collazos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mederos's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Collazos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Berberana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Gabon Reimundez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mederos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
