Reynold AFC's Umea Balpuesta got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Joanico's goal looked a bit too open when Umea Balpuesta came free, but Sadurni Hubidia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Umea Balpuesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reynold AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Umea Balpuesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sadurni Hubidia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Txaran Motrico's late challenge caught a Reynold AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Txaran Motrico helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Joanico getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Txaran Motrico hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xove Nuñez in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Govelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sadurni Hubidia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umea Balpuesta in the 19th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Xove Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Govelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Txema Jove hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Joanico's Zornin Morelle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ambrosio Govelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Seron in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Umea Balpuesta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sadurni Hubidia. Joanico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umea Balpuesta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Armando Seron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xove Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Pere Corres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joanico's Armando Seron got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xove Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Reynold AFC's Ordono Rivas got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sebastian Aleson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadurni Hubidia having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Xove Nuñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Govelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Reynold AFC's Umea Balpuesta in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joanico's goalie prevented a goal. Umea Balpuesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Sebastian Aleson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reynold AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Aleson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Reynold AFC's Umea Balpuesta in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joanico's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Xove Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Govelo. Reynold AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xove Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Sebastian Aleson took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sadurni Hubidia. Sadurni Hubidia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
