Dale Kitching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Soldevila having to interfere. Sesuldo Soldevila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaya Peñacastillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Cornelio Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sesuldo Soldevila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahogados AFC's Sesuldo Soldevila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Presebal Mazo in the 14th minute of play. Jabier Bozo's late challenge caught a Ahogados AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jabier Bozo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Red Albion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jabier Bozo to maneuver through the defense. If Presebal Mazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sesuldo Soldevila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ciceron in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Dale Kitching ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sesuldo Soldevila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 38th minute, Ahogados AFC's Caton Mestas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prejun Alguea. Prejun Alguea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Ahogados AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ciceron came free, but Sesuldo Soldevila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Anaya Peñacastillo made a precise shot to the right of Sesuldo Soldevila. Ahogados AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sesuldo Soldevila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ciceron in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliviero Santa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Cornelio Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Albion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Presebal Mazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Dale Kitching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sesuldo Soldevila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dale Kitching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Soldevila having to interfere. Sesuldo Soldevila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diegotxe Vagrande in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ahogados AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ciceron came free, but Sesuldo Soldevila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Ciceron received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sesuldo Soldevila came out and tried to block the shot, but Cornelio Ciceron slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 65th minute. A collision led to Red Albion getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anaya Peñacastillo hit a great ball. Red Albion's Prejun Alguea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliviero Santa in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Ahogados AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Torio. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Albion's Diegotxe Vagrande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sesuldo Soldevila. That made the score 1-4 after 79 minutes of play. Beremundo Olivencia kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Red Albion played a much better game than Ahogados AFC and deserved their victory. The Ahogados AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
