After 14 played minutes Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Oyarzabal. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad's zone, Mateus Chacon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ihintza Castelo came out of the goal and Mateus Chacon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Concordia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Lasa came free, but Manny Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Chacon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ihintza Castelo made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Mercurio Quintero came free, but Ihintza Castelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Libertad's Ihintza Castelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mercurio Quintero in the 29th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Mercurio Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Mercurio Quintero came free, but Ihintza Castelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Leonel Lasa made the kick off in the second half. Ihintza Castelo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Concordia AFC's Mateus Chacon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Libertad's Ihintza Castelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Chacon in the 62nd minute of play. When Xuban Durango fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concordia AFC's protests and gave Xuban Durango a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Concordia AFC's Xuban Durango got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mercurio Quintero struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ihintza Castelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concordia AFC. If Mateus Chacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Chacon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ihintza Castelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concordia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mercurio Quintero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateus Chacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ihintza Castelo having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Pedro Oyarzabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mercurio Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 89 played minutes Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Noe Villasinda. In the 92nd minute, Mercurio Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Libertad defense, Mateus Chacon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ihintza Castelo. The Libertad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ihintza Castelo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Concordia AFC had won after a very even match.
