In the 3rd match minute, Yaguan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Baraona to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sarandi FC's zone, Gregory Gort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Che Turiel came out of the goal and Gregory Gort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gregory Gort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Olivar Romano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Che Turiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Eguntsenti Costeras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarandi FC's Che Turiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Gaur Sustaeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarandi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaguan FC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Sarandi FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaur Sustaeta. Gregory Gort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Turiel having to interfere. Che Turiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eguntsenti Costeras in the 27th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Sarandi FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Diez. After 32 minutes Sarandi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olivar Romano who took care of the corner kick. 37 minutes into the match, Sarandi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eguntsenti Costeras came free, but Che Turiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eguntsenti Costeras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaur Sustaeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Alsina having to make a save. Zacarias Alsina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaur Sustaeta in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaur Sustaeta made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play Sarandi FC's Eudoxio Terjida was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Yaguan FC booed when Sarandi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eudoxio Terjida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eguntsenti Costeras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Che Turiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eguntsenti Costeras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Che Turiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eguntsenti Costeras, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Eguntsenti Costeras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
