The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lourenco Ricote made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahia Quintero in the 3rd minute of play. Palos Iruleta kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordara Ludueña during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valentin FC booed when ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordara Ludueña didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Mensa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rumaldo Trasgallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenco Ricote having to interfere. Nahia Quintero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lourenco Ricote read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Nahia Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rumaldo Trasgallo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Valentin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rumaldo Trasgallo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nahia Quintero in the 27th minute of play forced ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo's goalkeeper Lourenco Ricote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Rumaldo Trasgallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valentin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lourenco Ricote was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Nahia Quintero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nahia Quintero really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Rumaldo Trasgallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lourenco Ricote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rumaldo Trasgallo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Valentin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rumaldo Trasgallo couldn't finish the play. Frances Morquecho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Mensa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Rumaldo Trasgallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rumaldo Trasgallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes, Xuban Ocampo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo and the Valentin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xuban Ocampo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Rumaldo Trasgallo came free, but Lourenco Ricote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Rumaldo Trasgallo came free, but Lourenco Ricote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. At last the ball reached Ieltxu Adarzo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo. 4-1. Valentin FC's Frances Morquecho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Valentin FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ClubAtlético Mar de Fondo booed when Valentin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ieltxu Adarzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Valentin FC were the better team. Valentin FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
