Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ermano Leicea kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Salto AFC's zone, Ermano Leicea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Bultron came out of the goal and Ermano Leicea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Bultron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermano Leicea in the 5th minute of play. Flavio Bultron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zabal Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Bultron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermano Leicea, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Ermano Leicea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Bultron. The goal made the score 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Artigas's goal looked a bit too open when Cheche Griego came free, but Edgard Ungia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artigas's Edgard Ungia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martxelin Achutegui in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Salto AFC booed when Artigas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meder Engraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheche Griego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martxelin Achutegui struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Edgard Ungia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto AFC. Flavio Bultron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermano Leicea's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Cugat Arista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Flavio Bultron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ermano Leicea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cugat Arista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Flavio Bultron made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Cheche Griego had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Ungia. Artigas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheche Griego was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martxelin Achutegui was the one to do the kick off. Cugat Arista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Flavio Bultron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Artigas's Edgard Ungia got control of the ball when Cheche Griego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cheche Griego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Edgard Ungia made a huge save. Martxelin Achutegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Ungia having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Bernalda. After 73 played minutes Artigas got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Cervilla. Martxelin Achutegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgard Ungia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martxelin Achutegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Zabal Molina kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Martxelin Achutegui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Bultron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cugat Arista, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ermano Leicea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Bultron having to interfere. Cheche Griego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Edgard Ungia made a huge save.
