Piedritas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osoro Araoz in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Portera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raigon AFC's Osoro Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raigon AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Orlando Reigosa scored to the left of an out of position Hori Yurrita, making the score, 1-0. Javier Mijancas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hori Yurrita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lizar Rubayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Mijancas got free with Hori Yurrita in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Silviano Feijoo made the kick off in the second half. Javier Mijancas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Raigon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kusko Meruendano to maneuver through the defense. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Silviano Feijoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Javier Mijancas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piedritas's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Mijancas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hori Yurrita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Lizar Rubayo made a precise shot to the right of Hori Yurrita. Raigon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Lizar Rubayo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Piedritas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lizar Rubayo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Mijancas in the 93rd minute of play forced Raigon AFC's goalkeeper Hori Yurrita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
