The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskarbi Arlines got free with Odilon Felix in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Serapio Lombana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Tramarria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ramiro Espoa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Odilon Felix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHOTA FUERTE. In the 21st minute Ramiro Espoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odilon Felix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CHOTA FUERTE's goalkeeper Ramon Tramarria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Juanito Romay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christobal Acacia fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHOTA FUERTE's protests and gave Christobal Acacia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, CHOTA FUERTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christobal Acacia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Weather Harroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Weather Harroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Tramarria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Weather Harroyo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 29 minutes, Tello Angelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHOTA FUERTE and the Union FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, one of CHOTA FUERTE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CHOTA FUERTE. Crescencio Cifuentes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Serapio Lombana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes of play, Union FC's Serapio Lombana made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Tramarria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Union FC's Crescencio Cifuentes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Romano Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the CHOTA FUERTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romano Beltran couldn't finish the play. Union FC's Odilon Felix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Union FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serapio Lombana to strike the kick off in the second half. Odilon Felix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Espoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Serapio Lombana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CHOTA FUERTE's Ramiro Espoa got a free kick in the 61st minute. Serapio Lombana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Tramarria having to make a save. Ciro Gox struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ramon Tramarria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union FC. After having played for 67 minutes, Serapio Lombana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serapio Lombana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Romano Beltran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CHOTA FUERTE booed when Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serapio Lombana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes CHOTA FUERTE got a freekick which was hit by Tello Angelo. When Christobal Acacia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Christobal Acacia kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Serapio Lombana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Union FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
