Ildephonso Saladrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Piamontesa's Ildephonso Saladrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Says in the 20th minute of play. Estevam Robredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Juanito Romay. Berriotxoa Sedan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odilon Felix having to interfere. Weather Harroyo scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ildephonso Saladrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Ronaldo Says shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildephonso Saladrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Union FC booed when Piamontesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elizardo Legarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Union FC's Serapio Lombana got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Estevam Robredo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Berriotxoa Sedan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Odilon Felix was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Estevam Robredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odilon Felix having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berriotxoa Sedan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odilon Felix saved Union FC from getting behind. The Piamontesa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Union FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Berriotxoa Sedan made the kick off in the second half. Ildephonso Saladrigues made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ronaldo Says sent off a good shot on target. Ildephonso Saladrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juanito Romay, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ildephonso Saladrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Says in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Union FC's Juanito Romay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ildephonso Saladrigues. Piamontesa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Juanito Romay scored to the left of an out of position Ildephonso Saladrigues, making the score, 1-4. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Weather Harroyo took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Ildephonso Saladrigues to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute, Estevam Robredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Odilon Felix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevam Robredo in the 76th minute of play. Ildephonso Saladrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juanito Romay, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Piamontesa's Berriotxoa Sedan in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
