Marco Cendegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Achar's zone, Beliran Galdeano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beltza Palenzuela came out of the goal and Beliran Galdeano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martxelin Abrea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Beliran Galdeano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beliran Galdeano to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Cendegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honesto Villarruel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Cendegui in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverio Mestre in the 59th minute of play forced Espartanos's goalkeeper Honesto Villarruel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honesto Villarruel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverio Mestre in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Achar booed when Espartanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inautzi Ferreiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Brais Marto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honesto Villarruel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverio Mestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Beliran Galdeano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltza Palenzuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guilllermo Zarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Achar's Beltza Palenzuela got control of the ball when Guilllermo Zarraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guilllermo Zarraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beltza Palenzuela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilllermo Zarraga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, Marco Cendegui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guilllermo Zarragas short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Beltza Palenzuela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Espartanos's Honesto Villarruel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverio Mestre in the 98th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
