Spectators: 7291 (Terracing: 5578, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Justin Cantero made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Silviano Casaponsa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ixona Temes. After a defensive mix-up in Riffo AFC's zone, Silviano Casaponsa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ixona Temes came out of the goal and Silviano Casaponsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tartalo Barnuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixona Temes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Garnica in the 19th minute of play forced Riffo AFC's goalkeeper Ixona Temes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tataypy f.c's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cutberto Carballo was slow to take the kick. During this time Riffo AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tataypy f.c's goalie and right to Lorenzo Galli. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tataypy f.c's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Silviano Casaponsa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Silviano Casaponsa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ixona Temes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riffo AFC's goalkeeper Ixona Temes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riffo AFC's Ixona Temes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Riffo AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Jacobo Benites shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Goyeneta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 51 minutes, Mateo Garnica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tataypy f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Garnica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silviano Casaponsa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tataypy f.c booed when Riffo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cutberto Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Garnica might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ixona Temes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Garnica ran back to his position shaking his head. Silviano Casaponsa struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ixona Temes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tataypy f.c. After some careless play in the Riffo AFC defense, Silviano Casaponsa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ixona Temes. The Riffo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ixona Temes should have stopped the shot. Ixona Temes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Garnica went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ixona Temes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviano Casaponsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Silviano Casaponsa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ixona Temes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Silviano Casaponsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixona Temes having to interfere. Jacobo Benites could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Paolo Goyeneta made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Riffo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silviano Casaponsa came free, but Ixona Temes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Riffo AFC defense, Mateo Garnica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ixona Temes. The Riffo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ixona Temes should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Tataypy f.c players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
