Sesuldo Castroviejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Sesuldo Castroviejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atenas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sesuldo Castroviejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iparragirre Cadanes came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Fanbeba's Clodoveo Jerrold. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Segio Borinaga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Dinu Mocanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iparragirre Cadanes having to make a save. Estefan Font received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Iparragirre Cadanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soter Tejedor charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Soter Tejedor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fanbeba booed when Atenas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soter Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iparragirre Cadanes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Clodoveo Jerrold sent off a good shot on target. Clodoveo Jerrold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Iparragirre Cadanes made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Atenas FC's Heriberto Urreche got a free kick in the 35th minute.

The wind increased when Clodoveo Jerrold made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Jerrold in the 54th minute of play forced Atenas FC's goalkeeper Iparragirre Cadanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fanbeba's zone, Inguma Aguiriano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rik Ladrada came out of the goal and Inguma Aguiriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes, Heriberto Urreche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atenas FC and the Fanbeba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Heriberto Urreche kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fanbeba's zone, Hartz Cerezuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rik Ladrada came out of the goal and Hartz Cerezuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Rioja charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Rioja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Fanbeba got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Rioja. Sesuldo Castroviejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 94 minutes of play, Atenas FC's Sesuldo Castroviejo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rik Ladrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fanbeba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
