In the 12th minute Caton Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Vadillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes Maguna FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bembe Miguel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Trueno F.C.'s corner Bembe Miguel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nacho Vadillo quite easily take care of the ball. Marcelito Rodas made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Victorio Padolles sent off a good shot on target. Frasco Roelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Vadillo having to interfere. If Caton Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frasco Roelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacho Vadillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caton Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Trueno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Terrazas came free, but Marcelito Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Padolles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Francisco Terrazas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trueno F.C.'s Marcelito Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Maguna FC's Marcelito Rodas threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francisco Terrazas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Terrazas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Maguna FC's goalkeeper Nacho Vadillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caton Abella. In the 57th match minute, Trueno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gudesteo Belda to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Padolles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Rodas having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Santxol Morelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelito Rodas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Baltasar Zazo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Maguna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Zazo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasco Roelas in the 67th minute of play forced Maguna FC's goalkeeper Nacho Vadillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Caton Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacho Vadillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caton Abella in the 89th minute. If Frasco Roelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Caton Abella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trueno F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
