RIVER PLATE's protests and gave Ubaldo Becerril a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Manilan Nobajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Guazo in the 82nd minute of play forced C.A. RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Lazaro Barrachina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evaristo Guasch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laura AFC's Xuoco Pumareto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Guasch in the 92nd minute of play. The Laura AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. RIVER PLATE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
