After a defensive mix-up in Finisterra F.C's zone, Jerardo Cal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sugoi Candana came out of the goal and Jerardo Cal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Laura AFC's Sugoi Candana threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ambrosio Guazo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Laura AFC's Xuoco Pumareto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idacio Caso in the 17th minute of play. The Finisterra F.C fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Finisterra F.C's Oto Gener looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Laura AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Respaldizar came free, but Xuoco Pumareto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xuoco Pumareto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartz Ardanza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Finisterra F.C's Idacio Caso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xuoco Pumareto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Idacio Caso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xuoco Pumareto having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ubelteso Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xuoco Pumareto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartz Ardanza in the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Laura AFC's Xuoco Pumareto got control of the ball when Idacio Caso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xuoco Pumareto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Idacio Caso in the 97th minute. Finisterra F.C played a much better game than Laura AFC and deserved their victory. The Laura AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
