Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vitorino Collazos kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Vitorino Collazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markel Baraña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Conchillas's Vitorino Collazos, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Conchillas. After 9 played minutes Suarez got a freekick which was hit by Tohias Elias. After having played for 11 minutes, Vitorino Collazos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conchillas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitorino Collazos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitorino Collazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerardo Valderrabano struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Markel Baraña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conchillas. Markel Baraña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitorino Collazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Goya charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Goya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Conchillas booed when Suarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Goya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garcia Hortigosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Markel Baraña. Suarez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Vitorino Collazos lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Markel Baraña. If Manuel Goya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markel Baraña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerardo Valderrabano in the 35th minute. A collision led to Suarez getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Erdiano Labandera hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Suarez's goal looked a bit too open when Vitorino Collazos came free, but Markel Baraña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froylan Pas to make the kick off. Rodas Bustillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vitorino Collazos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Conchillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitorino Collazos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerardo Valderrabano in the 61st minute of play forced Suarez's goalkeeper Markel Baraña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Conchillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Peñafiel to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Suarez's Opilano Collantes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Jerardo Valderrabano came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Conchillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerardo Valderrabano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Suarez getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tohias Elias hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Conchillas's Garcia Hortigosa tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Conchillas's Jerardo Valderrabano got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froylan Pas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cordarrol Jimeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vitorino Collazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Manuel Goya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Goya got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th match minute, Suarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Goya to maneuver through the defense. Markel Baraña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitorino Collazos in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Froylan Pas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markel Baraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitorino Collazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Froylan Pas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suarez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conchillas the free kick. Froylan Pas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Vitorino Collazos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Froylan Pas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Conchillas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Suarez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
