Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Polo Pecina took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lapuente's Polo Pecina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Estavan Torcida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estavan Torcida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Pecina, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ilazki Nabarro struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Txartiko Riesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto. Artizar Canado kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ilazki Nabarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salto's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilazki Nabarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txartiko Riesco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Polo Pecina in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Estavan Torcida saved Salto from getting behind. Ilazki Nabarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txartiko Riesco having to interfere. Ilazki Nabarro scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Txartiko Riesco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Illart Miguelez during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Illart Miguelez kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rico Betolaza might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estavan Torcida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rico Betolaza ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricart Ugarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Estavan Torcida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurre Garonaga to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lapuente booed when Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipo Barrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rico Betolaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Loco Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loco Cuevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurre Garonaga took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Txartiko Riesco. Txartiko Riesco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Salto's zone, Loco Cuevas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estavan Torcida came out of the goal and Loco Cuevas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Gipuzkoa Marti. Estavan Torcida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loco Cuevas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 80 minute of play. Loco Cuevas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Salto players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
