Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Genaro Cedrun made the kick off and thus started the match. Meder Bernaldo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Echeverry FC's zone, Victorio Siles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafe Bruñon came out of the goal and Victorio Siles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Victorio Siles came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Averias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Siles couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Victorio Siles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafe Bruñon was a little too slow when Meder Bernaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Victorio Siles came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Averias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Siles couldn't finish the play. Meder Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rafe Bruñon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Meder Bernaldo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rafe Bruñon.

A collision led to Averias getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Evarado Zarain hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Cedrun in the 60th minute of play forced Averias's goalkeeper Carlo Capetillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Echeverry FC's Eguzki Madrid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Capetillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Echeverry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Siles came free, but Rafe Bruñon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Echeverry FC's Chago Meruendano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Capetillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Cesar Ayllon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafe Bruñon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafe Bruñon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Siles in the 86th minute of play. Rafe Bruñon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meder Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Meder Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Averias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meder Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chago Meruendano charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chago Meruendano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Meder Bernaldo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rafe Bruñon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Averias. In the 97th minute, one of Echeverry FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Echeverry FC. Averias's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
