With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kimetz Bada in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciceron Gainzarain saved La Cuadrita FC from getting behind. Kevin Vinyals charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Vinyals the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes La Cuadrita FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Vinyals. Ciceron Gainzarain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kimetz Bada, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, La Cuadrita FC's Archibaldo Cardeño got a free kick in the 27th minute. La Cuadrita FC's Ciceron Gainzarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kimetz Bada in the 30th minute of play. Kevin Vinyals who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Lluis Sotuela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, La Cuadrita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kimetz Bada came free, but Ciceron Gainzarain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paz Erruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ciceron Gainzarain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vergara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 77th minute Kimetz Bada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciceron Gainzarain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Paz Erruz sped through La Cuadrita FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciceron Gainzarain. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Paz Erruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vergara's supporters rose to their feet, but Paz Erruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciceron Gainzarain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
