Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brun Codina started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, one of Fagundez AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fagundez AFC. In the 23rd play minute Handi Gallerreta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lluis Sotuela. 2-1. Teyo Robina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paz Erruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paz Erruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teyo Robina having to interfere. A collision led to Vergara getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Urtats Salazano hit a great ball. Handi Gallerreta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lluis Sotuela made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Handi Gallerreta got free with Lluis Sotuela in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Brun Codina took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Lluis Sotuela to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Vergara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fagundez AFC:s goal.

Handi Gallerreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lluis Sotuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vergara's zone, Brun Codina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lluis Sotuela came out of the goal and Brun Codina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lluis Sotuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brun Codina, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 4-2 became the score in the 65th minute when Paz Erruz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lluis Sotuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brun Codina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fagundez AFC's Teyo Robina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kimetz Bada in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Handi Gallerreta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagundez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Handi Gallerreta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Brun Codina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lluis Sotuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Handi Gallerreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Fagundez AFC's Brun Codina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lluis Sotuela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vergara's Paz Erruz got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paz Erruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teyo Robina having to make a save. Marcelino Valines charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Valines the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Vergara got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Valines. Lluis Sotuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Handi Gallerreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute, Paz Erruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fagundez AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vergara for a fine match.
