Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Euskalerria's Senen Piñan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Caetano Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Zaton in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xepe Baza saved Euskalerria from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Luis Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidele Delgado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Jairo Zaton came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Riffo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Zaton couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, Euskalerria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Achaque to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Eate Arnaez put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Euskalerria fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Riffo's Veronica Subiza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Xepe Baza. Caetano Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Baza having to interfere. Xepe Baza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Zaton went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Jairo Zaton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xepe Baza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Betancia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Baza having to interfere. Caetano Suarez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Xepe Baza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Jairo Zaton came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Riffo fans jumped to their feet. Xepe Baza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Zaton in the 40th minute of play. Flor Cardeños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Zigor Bujanda fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riffo's protests and gave Zigor Bujanda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Riffo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigor Bujanda to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Romuroso's late challenge caught a Euskalerria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Romuroso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Riffo's Jonathan Romuroso got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Zaton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flor Cardeños made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Luis Rosa sent off a good shot on target. After 51 played minutes Riffo got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Betancia. Luis Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Caetano Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riffo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riffo's Caetano Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Riffo booed when Euskalerria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taio Breijoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veronica Subiza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xepe Baza. Euskalerria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xepe Baza came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Riffo's Jairo Zaton. But to his dismay, Jairo Zaton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jairo Zaton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Baza having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Luis Rosa notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Riffo's Flor Cardeños. Flor Cardeños was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Riffo had won after a very even match.
