Cortume's Txordon Carrio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pedrera. Venceslao Lobado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincente Burdeos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Xavion Corrillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Argüeso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venceslao Lobado's late challenge caught a Cortume's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venceslao Lobado helped the player get up and apologised. Venceslao Lobado kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Cortume supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pedrera's performance. The match ended with a win for Pedrera.
