Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Transito Dicastillo started the match with the kick off. Coion AFC's Virgilio Faxardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Coion AFC from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Coion AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Faxardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Iturrate. Ambrosio Iturrates short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Virgilio Faxardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Coion AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Faxardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Iturrate. In the 30th minute Transito Dicastillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Faxardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Faxardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Transito Dicastillo in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Coion AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Faxardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Virgilio Faxardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Transito Dicastillo in the 41st minute of play. Olando Rusoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Virgilio Faxardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Biniambres took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Faxardo. Virgilio Faxardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Virgilio Faxardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Transito Dicastillo in the 52nd minute of play. Virgilio Faxardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Iturrate, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Coion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Transito Dicastillo came free, but Virgilio Faxardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, Onofre Tixido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coion AFC and the Liberfad players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Transito Dicastillo in the 62nd minute of play forced Coion AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Faxardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Transito Dicastillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Faxardo having to make a save. Transito Dicastillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Virgilio Faxardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Transito Dicastillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Transito Dicastillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Ambrosio Iturrate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liberfad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Iturrate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Faxardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Transito Dicastillo in the 89th minute of play. Transito Dicastillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Liberfad players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
