Bartoleme Llorente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartxot Buisante having to interfere. Jimenez's Gartxot Buisante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartoleme Llorente in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atuxz United's zone, Balendin Patiño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaiet Biñayo came out of the goal and Balendin Patiño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gartxot Buisante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartoleme Llorente in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Xacobo Barredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atuxz United's Kaiet Biñayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Regis Ruesga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jimenez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atuxz United the free kick. Regis Ruesga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Bartoleme Llorente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jimenez's Gartxot Buisante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gartxot Buisante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartoleme Llorente, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Bartoleme Llorente fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atuxz United's protests and gave Bartoleme Llorente a yellow card for diving instead. Bartoleme Llorente hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Toledano during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jimenez getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Erubiel Toledano hit a great ball. Bartoleme Llorente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaiet Biñayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balendin Patiño in the 42nd minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartoleme Llorente to make the kick off. Balendin Patiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Xacobo Barredo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Jimenez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xacobo Barredo couldn't finish the play. Kaiet Biñayo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Xacobo Barredo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Clemencin Veladiez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atuxz United's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemencin Veladiez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gartxot Buisante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bartoleme Llorente came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Atuxz United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartoleme Llorente couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Jimenez got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Toledano. After 75 played minutes Jimenez got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Alvarez. In the 78th match minute, Atuxz United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asur Endaya to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Atuxz United's Kaiet Biñayo got control of the ball when Xacobo Barredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xacobo Barredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Jimenez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Bartoleme Llorente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gartxot Buisante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clemencin Veladiez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Bartoleme Llorente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atuxz United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartoleme Llorente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Clemencin Veladiez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Jimenez's Gartxot Buisante. Gartxot Buisante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atuxz United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jimenez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
