Montez Izaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Solustiano Linares having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Sidro Alcivia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceferino and the Baygorria players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ceferino getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sidro Alcivia hit a great ball. Solustiano Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oinatz Aller in the 14th minute of the match. Gaufred Villaverde's late challenge caught a Ceferino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaufred Villaverde helped the player get up and apologised. Gaufred Villaverde kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Baygorria's Aimar Sandoval got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Oinatz Aller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baygorria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Baygorria's zone, Orlondo Irazabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ler Guizabal came out of the goal and Orlondo Irazabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Baygorria's goalkeeper Ler Guizabal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oxarra Ucero. Ceferino's Solustiano Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oinatz Aller in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ceferino's zone, Montez Izaguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Solustiano Linares came out of the goal and Montez Izaguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Ceferino players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baygorria were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oinatz Aller to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aimar Sandoval got free with Solustiano Linares in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ler Guizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oxarra Ucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Aimar Sandoval fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baygorria's protests and gave Aimar Sandoval a yellow card for diving instead. Aimar Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Montez Izaguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Ceferino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidro Alcivia to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Orlondo Irazabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ler Guizabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Ceferino's goal looked a bit too open when Oinatz Aller came free, but Solustiano Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Solustiano Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oinatz Aller, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Oinatz Aller struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Solustiano Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baygorria. Baygorria's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
